Crystal-Pierz receives boat show exhibit award

CHICAGO – The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) recently honored Crystal-Pierz Marine with a Special Recognition Award for Outstanding Achievement in Boat Show Exhibit Design, it reported in a statement today. The award was presented to Crystal-Pierz President and COO Luke Kujawa on Thursday, June 7.

NMMA recognized Crystal-Pierz for overall design of its 2007 Northwest Sportshow display, which mimicked the Northwoods area of Minnesota. The exhibit featured fresh pine trees, sand, stone, paved walkways and running water. The scents, sounds and sights combined to make show attendees feel as if they were enjoying an afternoon in the Minnesota wilderness while inside the Minneapolis Convention Center, according to NMMA.

“Crystal-Pierz’s display at the Northwest Sportshow was not only a delight to the senses, but really captured the essence of boating in Minnesota,” said NMMA Executive Vice President Ben Wold. “I’ve never read so many positive comments about an exhibit in a post-show attendee survey. It’s clear from peoples’ comments Crystal-Pierz left a lasting impression on show-goers.”

This marks only the second time in history NMMA presented its Special Recognition Award to a boat show exhibitor. The first was given to U.S. Marine back in 2005, recognizing the outstanding design of its “Family Fun” display.

“The Crystal-Pierz Marine team has always been committed to making boat show season both successful and fun for our staff and customers,” explained Kujawa. “Typically, the effort we put forth to stand out pays dividends in many ways. Couple this with all the great feedback on our 2007 concept, and it was quite a humbling experience. We are thrilled to be recognized by NMMA as a result of our efforts and hope to continue raising the bar.”
