AMI awards four new marina industry certifications
WASHINGTON – Four new marina managers have attained certified marina manager status, the Association of Marina Industries said in a statement yesterday. The newest CMMs are Irene Hoe, Westport Marina, Victoria, Australia; Odette (Frances) Toro-Alvarez, Marina Puerto Chico, Puerto Real, Puerto Rico; Cheryl Maynard, Swantown Marina, Olympia, Wash.; and William Cranford, Alred Marina LLC, Guntersville, Ala.
The association’s Certified Marina Manager Review Committee unanimously approved all four designations. The four additions bring the list of total CMMs worldwide to 196.
CMM candidates, in addition to demonstrating five years of experience, must also complete the intermediate and advanced marina management schools.
