PORTSMOUTH, R.I. – To better service its customers in the Chesapeake Bay and Mid-Atlantic States, the Hinckley Company has added to its rapidly growing network of yacht service yards, the company said in a statement Friday.
Hinckley acquired the service business Jan. 3 and entered into a long-term agreement to operate a full service facility at the former Whitehall Yacht Yard in Annapolis, Md. All existing Whitehall employees have joined the Hinckley Company.
Hinckley has steadily expanded its network to six full service yards on the East Coast, which, in addition to the new site in Annapolis, includes locations in Southwest Harbor, Maine; Portsmouth, R.I.; Oxford, Md.; Savannah, Ga.; and Stuart, Fla.
