Faria and Maptech to integrate certain products

UNCASVILLE, Conn. – The Thomas G. Faria Corporation and Faria Marine Instruments in Uncasville, Conn. have entered into a business agreement with Maptech, Inc. of Amesbury Mass., Faria reported in a release yesterday.

The two companies intend to marry their respective technical core competencies in a variety of new product offerings.

Faria’s proprietary engine diagnostic software and telematics technology will be interfaced with Maptech’s sophisticated navigational, mapping and database technologies to produce various navigation, information and telematics products for the marine, RV and commercial marketplaces.
