West Marine opens new service location
WATSONVILLE, Calif. – Specialty boating retailer West Marine, Inc., recently opened West Marine Maritime Electronics, the newest West Marine Boat Services location at the Keefe Kaplan Maritime boat yard in Port Richmond, Calif., the company reported earlier this week.
West Marine’s Maritime Electronics has an expanded selection to accommodate the needs of customers with larger yachts. West Marine has also hired the highly respected Ron Romaine and Tim Rogers who bring more than 50 years of sailing, electronic and electrical expertise to this new Boat Services location on the Timber Wharf at the KKMI yard.
“Our philosophy along with KKMI’s commitment to provide the highest quality products and service seemed like a perfect partnership,” said Peter Harris, chief executive officer, West Marine. “We look forward to enhancing our electronic offerings and servicing the needs of customers with larger vessels.”
West Marine Maritime Electronics will not only provide Boat Services, but there will also be an electronics showroom, featuring high-end electronics. The new electronics showroom will have its grand opening in the fall.
