Crystal-Pierz reports record-breaking show sales

CRYSTAL, Minn. – Crystal-Pierz Marine experienced record-breaking sales at this past weekend’s St. Paul Boat & Marine Products Show, selling 25 more boats than last year, it reported in a recent statement.

This made for a total of 176 units sold, creating revenues of just under $4 million, according to the company.

The numbers are a welcomed change after previous 2005 shows provided reduced traffic and, in some cases, a reported 40-percent drop in attendance, stated the dealership.

“We couldn’t be happier with our performance in St. Paul,” said Luke Kujawa, Crystal-Pierz Marine vice president. “Logic dictates the spring-like temperatures coupled with our new store in Hastings plays into this success. We believe the Hastings’ store has widened the visibility and name recognition of Crystal-Pierz Marine to the entire South-East Metro and in-turn increased our appeal at the St. Paul Show … and April temps in February didn’t hurt.”

The Hastings’ store opened its doors last month and offers customers product lines including Crestliner, Glastron, Bennington, Ranger, Stratos, Centurion Gibson Houseboats and Cabrio Cruisers. The Hastings’ store also features Crystal-Pierz Marine’s Urgent Care service, designed to keep boaters out of the shop and on the water via drive-through/same-day repair diagnosis.
