Sea Ray brochure honored for graphic design

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Graphic Design:usa recently selected Sea Ray’s 2004 model year brochure, Sea Ray Sport Yacht and Yachts, as a winner in the 2004 American Graphic Design Awards in the “brochure and collateral” category, Sea Ray said yesterday.

Now in its 25th year, the Graphic Design Awards Competition honors outstanding work in the graphic design field. The Sea Ray Sport Yacht and Yachts brochure was among 10,000 entries submitted from around the United States, and honors were given in 23 different categories, Sea Ray said in its press release.

Only 12 percent of entries were selected as winners, and the brochure was judged on design as well as content, according to Sea Ray.

The Graphics Company, a catalog design specialist working in partnership with AVALA Marketing, Sea Ray’s ad agency, designed and produced the catalog for Sea Ray. The publication is approximately 150 pages, utilizing metallic inks throughout.

“The Sea Ray brochure is the ideal representation of what a brochure should be – compelling photos created by some of the best photographers in the industry, the right information to help the consumers make their buying decision, all wrapped up in a visually appealing package,” said Steve Hoffmann, president and creative director of the Graphics Company. “It is the ultimate sales tool.”
