Quintrex and Bombardier join in packaging agreement
PEACEDALE, R.I. – Australia-based aluminum boat builder Quintrex has entered into a packaging agreement with Bombardier Engines, according to a press release issued yesterday by Quintrex.
The boat builder said the “strategic alliance” with Bombardier, which manufacturers Johnson and Evinrude engines, represents an opportunity for Quintrex dealers to provide boat, motor and trailer packages to the boating public.
“We are very proud of the strategic direction that we are taking, especially with such a reliable and quality brand as Bombardier,” said Andrew Hill, Quintrex director of sales and marketing.
“We have now created a niche in the market whereby consumers can buy a complete premium boat, motor and trailer package with the satisfaction of knowing warranties are factory backed and dealers are trained with expert knowledge and skills,” Hill added.
Quick-Start Quintrex packages will be available as of July 1, with the official launch to be held at the Melbourne Boat Show, the company said.
