Strictly Sail Miami expands tent space
MIAMI, Fla. – The 19th edition of Strictly Sail Miami, February 12-17, will feature an additional tent to accommodate the increased demand for exhibitor space, show organizer Sail America reported in a recent statement.
Strictly Sail, the sail only portion of the Miami International Boat Show, is a showcase for mono and multihull sailboats from around the globe, as well as electronics and gear.
“We were bursting at the seams,” explained Kevin Murphy, national show manager. “Expanding the in-water exhibits with temporary docks is easy, but on land it’s tougher. The new tent will provide the space we need for added demand.”
The expansion is thanks to a special arrangement with the City of Miami and Miamarina at Bayside, organizers reported.
