United Kingdom – UK marine companies interested in establishing or expanding sales in the United States will have an opportunity to enroll in the British Marine Federation’s (BMF) U.S. market mentoring program at the Schroders London International Boat Show, January 12-14 at ExCel, the association reported in a recent statement.
The program, a partnership between BMF and Trade Partners UK, provides UK companies with special training to help sell their products and services stateside. Training is provided by US-based consulting firm Home Port Marine Marketing.
Ten British companies are already enrolled in the year-long program. Activities for the companies include training workshops, preparation of sales and marketing plans tailored to the US market, individual consultation by Home Port and opportunities to participate in U.S. trade shows such as the Marine Aftermarket Accessories Trade Show (MAATS) and International Boatbuilders’ Exposition (IBEX).
