Marine service managers course scheduled for September
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The International Marina Institute, an Association of Marina Industries subsidiary, has scheduled its popular Marine Service Managers program for Sept. 14 to 17, 2007 at the Courtyard Marriott in West Palm Beach, Fla., IMI said in a press release yesterday.
Within the MSM course, which IMI produces jointly with the American Boat Builders & Repairers Association, IMI’s expert instructors provide participants with pointers in such non-technical topics as human-resource development, financial controls, customer relations, codes and standards and marketing and sales. The program is designed specifically for marina service and repair managers. In existence since 1999, The course has trained more than 75 participants since its inception in 1999 and partially fulfills the educational requirements leading to ABBRA’s Marine Service Manager Certification.
Class fees—including lodging, breakfasts, lunches and all course materials—are $2,395 for ABBRA and AMI members, and $2,875 for non-members.
