STURTEVANT, Wis. - Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. has put over $2 million up for grabs in Evinrude saltwater contingency payout for 2006. Professional and regional kingfish and redfish anglers have a combined product and cash payout potential that rivals contingencies offered by any outboard manufacturer.
First place finishers powered by a qualifying Evinrude outboard could win the following payouts:
"With our new contingency program, we have increased the opportunity for qualifying anglers to bring home big bonus money,” said Roch Lambert, vice president and general manager of outboard marine engines at BRP. “We want them to succeed and we want them to succeed with Evinrude.”
BRP developed the award system to support anglers running Evinrude engines on their boats and to help grow the sport of saltwater fishing. Anglers must be powered by Evinrude E-TEC or Evinrude DI outboard engines, model year 2004 or newer to receive the bonus money under the contingency programs.
