Trader acquires PassageMaker

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – PassageMaker Magazine, Inc. has been acquired by Trader Publishing Co., of Norfolk, Va., Trader said in a release today.

“We’re very excited at this opportunity,” said Bill Parlatore, PassageMaker’s editor in chief. “The horsepower of the Trader organization will allow us to grow in many worthwhile ways we’ve been looking to expand — in print, in our successful events and on the Internet. This opens up a whole new world for us.”

The PassageMaker team will stay at its Annapolis location, which expands as the new headquarters for Trader’s national consumer publications.

“Our intent is to continue publishing PassageMaker with the existing team,” said James Causey, vice president of Trader, responsible for consumer and industry magazines.
