Larson Boats names new chief operating officer

LITTLE FALLS, Minn. – Larson Boats recently named Mike O’Connell as its executive vice president and chief operating officer, according to a release from Larson Boats.

O’Connell will be responsible for operations, sales and marketing functions, as well as have direct involvement with the four brands manufactured at Larson’s Little Falls, Minn. facility – Larson, Seaswirl, Triumph and FinCraft.

O’Connell has more than 27 years of experience in the marine industry, most recently with Rec Boat Holdings as its vice president of planning and business development.

“Mike is well-known and well-respected throughout the marine industry. The addition of Mike to an already strong team in Little Falls will significantly help us grow our market positions as an industry leader throughout all four boat brands being manufactured in the Larson facility in Little Falls,” Irwin Jacobs, chairman of Larson’s parent company, J&D Boats, said in the release.
