EZ Loader Boat Trailers founder passes away
SPOKANE, Wash. — Lawrence Nels Johnson, the founder of EZ Loader Boat Trailers Inc., died on May 6 at the age of 97.
Johnson founded EZ Loader Trailer in 1953 after creating a self-adjusting roller system. By the end of his career, he had 14 patented designs for trailers.
Johnson attended an engineering trade school and was also a partner in an auto body shop before starting his trailer business.
