MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Jeff Michaels has been named business development manager in the consumer business at Cummins Power Generation. In this role, Michaels will be supporting all four consumer markets: RV, commercial mobile, residential and marine.
According to the company, he will be exploring new business opportunities, as well as maintaining existing consumer business relationships within the North America distribution channel. He will work directly with Cummins NPower, Cummins Central Power, Cummins Bridgeway and Cummins Crosspoint. He will report to Sarah Dahms, consumer global channel leader.
Michaels brings years of sales and marketing experience for Cummins Onan and Cummins Power Generation to his new role, most recently as a senior sales analyst for the RV and Residential groups, providing presales support to distributors and to the RV OEMs. He was also the account manager for Tiffin Motorhomes, based in Red Bay, Ala., and for Monaco RV, based in Coburg, Ore.
Michaels’ career at Cummins Power Generation spans more than 30 years, including early work in the finance function, and later in cost accounting. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn., and recently completed Six Sigma training.
