Torqeedo adds national sales manager
CRYSTAL LAKE, Ill. – Electric outboard engine manufacturer Torqeedo has added Anthony C. Piraino as its new national sales manager, according to a release from the company. Piraino comes to the marine industry after 20 years in the hardware market.
As national sales manager, Piraino will be responsible for generating new business as well as expanding current business for the company’s entire line of products, Torqeedo said. In addition, he will manage Torqeedo’s rep groups and participate in industry consumer and trade shows and dealer meetings.
“My goal is to develop and expand Torqeedo’s account base,” Piraino said in the release. “I want to make Torqeedo a household name in the marine and paddlesport markets.”
Piraino previously served as national account sales manager for Wolfcraft, Inc., where he managed annual territory sales. His accounts included Sears, Kmart, Home Depot and Menards.
