Digital Yacht names new chief technology officer
BRISTOL, United Kingdom — Digital Yacht, the Bristol-based manufacturer of marine navigation and communication equipment, has appointed Paul Sumpner as chief technology officer, the company reported this week.
Sumpner was previously with Jeppesen Marine. He will head up the company’s Research and Development program.
“I am delighted to welcome Paul Sumpner to our Board and we value his knowledge and ability to help accelerate our 2010 product roll out,” Nick Heyes, managing director of Digital Yacht, said in a statement.
