Ranger Tugs names sales manager
KENT, Wash. – Ranger Tugs has appointed Mark Mansfield as sales manager, responsible for dealer service and development in addition to sales forecasting and production scheduling in North American markets, the company reported in a recent statement.
“Mark’s 23 years in the recreational boating industry have given him a perspective based on forging strong dealer relationships,” said Jeff Messmer, Ranger Tugs’ vice president of sales, “an asset that will support the continued growth of the Ranger Tugs brand.”
The continuing popularity of the company’s 21- and 25-foot models, compounded by healthy sales of its new flagship Ranger 29 cruiser since its introduction late last year, have fueled early production increases, allowing Ranger Tugs to keep pace with dealer expansion, Messmer added.
“Thanks to his experience, particularly in eastern and central markets, we believe Mark will be very effective in further strengthening the brand and helping our dealers achieve their individual growth objectives,” he said.
Mansfield credits the product line’s innovative designs and market position as key elements in Ranger Tugs’ success.
“The boats are perfectly suited for current and future business environments,” he said. “Each one is remarkably fuel efficient, with quality construction, functional arrangements and all the right standard features. And as a family-owned enterprise, Ranger Tugs reflects a passion for the business, characterized by meaningful innovation, financial stability and a policy of reinvesting resources back into the company that few other builders can match.”
An Indiana native and graduate of Purdue University, Mansfield lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife and three children.
