Unified Marine names new president
NEWPORT, Tenn. — Unified Marine Inc., manufacturer of SeaSense and Road Warrior marine and trailer accessories, has promoted Tom Brewington from vice president to president, the company reported this week. David Nirenberg, CEO and Owner of Unified Marine, said he has been trying to fill the position since Steven Taugher passed away in December 2005.
Brewington returned to Unified Marine in July 2008 after a six-year absence. He had previously worked at the company as Vice President of Sales
“Tom has 30-years of management experience within the marine and consumer product industries, holding numerous management and upper management positions,” Nirenberg said in a statement. “His vast employment experience makes him the perfect fit as our new president.”
Nirenberg will remain CEO, but Brewington will handle all day to day operations, according to the company.
