ELKHART, Ind. – ACTIA Corp., a data bus gauge manufacturer that entered the marine industry last year, has appointed Adam Ramouni as its chief executive officer, the company reported in a recent statement. Ramouni has also been elected to ACTIA’s Board of Directors.

Ramouni assumed day-to-day operations of the ACTIA US operations as the managing director in July 2006 and has been instrumental in the results that have followed, according to the company. As CEO, Ramouni will expand his efforts to include strategic planning and future growth.

Ramouni, who brings 20 plus years of vehicle electronics experience to his position, intends to position ACTIA as a strategic partner to all of its current and future

“We don’t want to be just another component supplier. We want to work side by side with our customers to help them become more competitive in this global economy,” he said.

The ACTIA Group consists of 15 companies each focusing on a piece of the vehicle technology puzzle.

“Using these ACTIA core competencies, we can provide a turnkey solution for just about any vehicle application,” explains Mr. Ramouni. “We not only can provide all of the on-board solutions, including instrumentation, multiplexed power management, multiplexed switching and telematics, but we can also provide off-board solutions that include diagnostic service tools, end-of-line test solutions and much more.”
