HANOVER, Md. – Mastervolt, a marine, mobile and renewable energy technology company, has appointed Dan Dickerson as director of technical sales, the company said in a press release yesterday. The Amsterdam, Netherlands-based company manufactures and supplies complete electrical power systems for recreational and commercial vessels.
Operating from the company’s North American headquarters in Hanover, Md., Dickerson will focus on driving sales throughout all levels of the North American marine marketplace, including OEM, retrofit and aftermarket segments.
“Dan’s extensive sales and marketing expertise coupled with his passion for both the marine industry and the Mastervolt product line make him an ideal fit,” said Leo van Hemert, Mastervolt, Inc. CEO. “We are confident in his ability to help steer our initiatives and achieve our goals in the North American market.”
With 23 years of marine sales experience, Dickerson brings creative marketing skills and a strong operational understanding of onboard sail and powerboat systems to his new position. Prior to joining Mastervolt, Dickerson served as vice president of sales and marketing at Weems and Plath. Previously, he worked as a manufacturers’ representative for R.J. deRecat, now the Derema Group, where he concentrated on technical sales and support for marine electrical and navigation companies.
