Marine Mover – Patrick Industries, Inc. names new president and CEO

ELKHART, Ind. – The Board of Directors of Patrick Industries, Inc. reported the election of Paul E. Hassler as president and chief executive officer effective April 5, in a statement yesterday.

Hassler will take over for the current interim president and CEO, Keith V. Kankel, and the succession will include a transition plan during which Kankel will remain an employee for the following several months, the company said.

Hassler has been with the Patrick Industries, a component products manufacturer and supplier of building products serving the marine aftermarket, for over 17 years. Most recently, he was the vice president of Western Operations, where he was responsible for all aspects of more than 12 manufacturing and distribution facilities.

Hassler and his wife Shirley will relocate from California to the Elkhart, Ind. area.
