Lund announces 2 new Pro Guide models for 2020

Since the inception in 1948, Lund has been producing what the company claims as “the most innovative tiller fishing boat in the industry.” In 2020, Lund said it is continuing this tiller innovation with the launch of the new 1675 and 1775 Pro Guides.

“It may be one of the best kept secrets of the Lund engineers, the ability to steer the boat from the rear provides the ultimate in boat control” states Rory Wiebe, Lund product manager. “The tiller control allows the angler precise control so they can perfectly stay on their desired spot and ultimately catch more fish. Even when your battling the wind, you can make precise adjustments quickly to counter the wind and waves to stay on the fish, plus, the wide-open layout allows for completely free range of movement throughout the boat without anything getting in the way for your yourself or other anglers. It’s truly the ultimate fishing machine.”

The new 1675 and 1775 Pro Guides offer a twin-plated bow for added durability in rough waters and Lund’s patented IPS Hull for added performance. The boatbuilder said the reverse chines on the outside edge and pronounced center keel deliver precise boat control while the flat center pad provides for blazing hole shot and maximum engine performance.

The tiller “Command Center” of the new models keep everything within reach for the driver including storage of three tackle trays, a dedicated graph mounting area, throw tray, three tool holders and all the gauges easily accessible.

The rear livewell is also located right next to the driver and comes with a bait bucket knock-out area to quickly and easily bait your hook for the next fish.

The center rod locker holds 10 rods up to 7-feet, 5-inches and has an integrated tension strap system to keep rods securely in place. Lund also included integrated LED lights, a transom boarding ladder and ample storage based on other Lund models.

The 1675 Pro Guide is 16-feet, 10-inches in length and is rated for a maximum 60 HP while the 1775 is 17-feet, 10-inches in length and allows for a 75 maximum HP. There are also twelve different two-tone paint options including Lund’s Black-Out, Red-Out, or White-Out graphic packages for 2020.
