Kenect announces new industry partnerships

Kenect, a business texting platform that allows dealers to send and receive text messages from their existing business phone line recently announced two new partnerships within the marine and RV industries. 

A partnership with Total Control Software Corporation will include an integration between the Total Control dealer management system and the Kenect platform. This integration will allow contacts to sync between the two systems, as well as sending automated messages, including online review requests and surveys.

“We’re thrilled about this integration and partnership with Kenect.  We’re always striving to add more value to our system and know that integrating Kenect is going to be a powerful new addition,” explained Bill Rollins, Owner and CEO of Total Control. 

Shaun Sorensen, Co-Founder and CEO of Kenect, shared his excitement about the partnership as well, “Total Control has been an important player in the marine industry for over 20 years now.  We’re excited to be working together, and know we’re going to deliver a great new addition to both of our platforms.”

Kenect also announced a partnership with Marine Dealer Technologies (MDT), that will include an integration between Digital Showroom Manager and the Kenect platform, enabling enhanced quotes and invoices delivered via text message.

“We’re excited about partnering and integrating with Kenect.  This addition to the Digital Showroom Manager should be very helpful to all of our dealers,” explained Kris Thayer, President of Marine Dealer Technologies. 

In addition to the integration with MDT and Total Control, the Kenect platform has a wide range of features and functionality. With Kenect, a dealer will have the ability to:

  • More easily convert inbound leads via text messaging
  • Reduce phone traffic by up to 35% and eliminate on-hold times for customers
  • Generate dozens of 5-Star reviews on Google, Facebook, and important industry review sites
  • Schedule service appointments and send text reminders to reduce no-shows
  • Send photos, attachments and service updates via text message
  • Send out event promotions and special offers
