Lauderdale Marine Center names executive vice president, business development director

Lauderdale Marine Center has announced the appointment of Colin Kiley as executive vice president and Jeff Partin as director of business development.

Kiley brings over 30 years of experience in the marine industry to his position at LMC where he will manage all aspects of the customer experience including sales, business development, marketing guest services and contractor relations. 

He previously served as president of Nautical Structures Industries. Prior to that, he served with Doug West as vice president of sales and marketing and chief supply chain management officer at Rybovich Boat Co LLC.

Kiley studied mechanical engineering at Tulane University and project management at Nova Southeastern University.

Partin brings 28 years of marine industry experience to his position at LMC where he is responsible for seeking out new business opportunities, negotiating and maintaining business relationships, and working with the sales team to increase market share and improve customer experience and retention. 

His time in the industry includes the role of captain, project manager and 15 years in brokerage, most recently with Superyacht Sales and Charter.

He serves on the board of directors of the International Yacht Brokers Association (IYBA) and is chair of the IYBA Ethics Committee, Annual golf tournament and East and West Coast Sales Summits.

“Both Colin and Jeff are highly respected individuals within the yachting community, so we are very pleased to have them join our team, as they share LMC’s values of professionalism and transparency,” said Doug West, president of Lauderdale Marine Center. “They join us at an important time as we finish the reconfiguration and expansion of our marina adding, more than 20 slips for vessels over 100-feet.”
