Bass Pro Shops has completed its acquisition of Cabela’s Incorporated, in which Bass Pro Shops acquired Cabela’s for $61.50 per share in cash, representing an aggregate transaction value of approximately $5 billion.
The completed transaction formally brings together three sporting brands: Bass Pro Shops, Cabela’s, and White River Marine Group, which is part of Bass Pro Shops.
White River Marine Group boat brands include Tracker, Sun Tracker, Nitro, Tahoe, Regency, Mako, Ranger, Triton, Stratos, and Ascend.
The combined company will now offer an expanded product line and geographic footprint, said Johnny Morris, founder and CEO of Bass Pro Shops.
“We look forward to growing and celebrating conservation as we work to provide our combined customer base with enhanced product offerings, unique outdoor experiences and unrivaled services,” Morris said.
