Swantown Marina to offer ValvTect marine fuels
ValvTect announced the Swantown Marine Fueling Station at Swantown Marina in Port of Olympia, Wash., is now open for business and has joined the ValvTect family of over 600 certified ValvTect marinas marketing both ValvTect marine gasoline and ValvTect marine diesel.
Swantown is the seventh largest marina in the state and the center of recreational boating activities in the South Sound.
Swantown Marina, a 733-slip recreational marina and boat haul-out/repair facility is located on the southernmost deepwater port on Puget Sound. The fueling station will be open seven days a week.
Swanton Marina is serviced by Certified ValvTect Marine Fuel Distributor Associated Petroleum, which also services the entire greater Puget Sound region.
“The Port is committed to creating infrastructure to support and significantly expand recreational opportunities and regional visitation. This same infrastructure will also broaden the Port’s support of commercial maritime activities in the area. Swantown is now a full-service marina, which will not only make access easier for local boaters, but help promote tourism in Thurston County. The fact that we also will operate the most environmentally friendly facility in Puget Sound is a particular source of pride. We are proud to partner with ValvTect at our new facility,” said Ed Galligan, executive director.
“Swanton Marina is a first class marina offering outstanding services and many amenities. We are pleased that local boaters and those traveling to Port of Olympia, Wash. now have another premier marina to fill up at with high-quality ValvTect Marine Fuels,” said Marvin Griffin, president of ValvTect Petroleum Products.
