Dealer same-store sales up 16.3 percent in May

Boat dealers had a good month in May, as same-store sales were up 16.3 percent from the same month in 2016.

That's according to the latest report from CDK Global Recreation, which is based on data from users of the company’s Lightspeed software.

All categories were up this month, with particularly strong unit sales this month – up 19.1 percent. Parts and accessories sales were also high in May, up 16.3 percent. Service sales were essentially flat, up 0.1 percent over the previous year.
