SeaStar Solutions acquires Moeller Marine Products

SeaStar Solutions announced that it has acquired Moeller Marine Products, the

Sparta, Tenn-based manufacturer of rotationally molded plastic products that recently celebrating its 27th anniversary. Moeller manufactures a wide range of roto-molded products for the boatbuilder and boater, including motor flushers, seating, live wells, waste and water tanks, and engine paints.

“We first approached Moeller regarding an acquisition back in 2012. We have pursued them for five years so we are extremely happy to add Moeller to our portfolio,” said Yvan Cote, president and CEO of SeaStar Solutions.

Given the new environmental regulations, fuel systems are an increasingly important part of any powerboat. With the addition of Moeller, SeaStar Solutions hopes to become the leader in this field.

“We at SeaStar Solutions continue to expand our capabilities to better serve the marine industry. By integrating an increasingly varied range of products, we can offer the boat builders a simpler, more cost-efficient way to manage their supply chain,” said Cote.

Moeller will continue to operate out of its Sparta, Tenn. headquarters.
