A variety of new products and past favorite attractions, and a positive overall mood from exhibitors set the tone for last weekend’s Progressive Insurance Norwalk Boat Show.
The annual four-day boating event was 20 percent larger in 2016, with more boats and products on display than in past years, and attracted 14,839 visitors through its gates, a six percent increase over 2015 attendance.
Early reports indicate the show attracted drew serious buyers and resulted in a solid event for the local marine industry.
“We have three sea trials scheduled this week, we are very happy!” said Tim Ford of Regulator Marine.
“We saw a great crowd this weekend, we have sea trials scheduled and we are happy with the leads we’ve talked to,” said Phil Catalano of J. Catalano and Sons.
“This was the best boat show we’ve ever had! The quality of people has been the best of any show we’ve been to,” said Fiona Poole of Hunton Boats.
