Lexington Marine Group adds new sales personnel
Lexington Marine Group Pontoon division has announced the addition of several new personnel.
“A core objective of the company is to create a sales and sales administration team that is laser focused on our dealer network development and provide a broadened level of expertise on fleet sales and rental opportunities,” said Art Jeffries, newly named National Sales Manager.
Jeffries, who has 37 years of marine industry experience, was brought on board in May 2016 to build the team and create the internal infrastructure to support the growing retail network.
In addition, Mike Usina, a 30-year industry veteran, has been appointed Southeast Regional Sales Manager, responsible for Florida, Georgia and Alabama. Usina has previously been responsible for sales and network development under many major boat brands. In addition to his sales territory, Usina will be responsible for development of the company’s rental/fleet and government sales programs.
Steve Clothier joined the company in July as the Western Regional Sales Manager as well as Director of Dealer Development. Clothier’s experience spans 30+ years, primarily in the tow boat segments and has worked on numerous corporate training programs for dealers.
The sales team rounds out with Dick Sellers, Marty Castle and Nick Banta joining the group, effective immediately. Sellers will manage the Midwest territory, Castle will cover the Northeast region and Banta
will oversee the Mid-Atlantic states.
Sellers and Castle bring more than 60 years of pontoon-specific experience to the company, while Banta has been with the organization for more than a year in various sales and marketing roles.
The company is hosting a new dealer open house October 10-13, 2016, in Wilmington, N.C., where it will show off the new 2017 models and deliver the new business plan to interested retailers.
