FUSION announces partnership with Buster Boats

FUSION announced Tuesday, in conjunction with long-time partner Buster Boats, a new infotainment system offered as standard equipment on most of Buster’s new models.

Buster Boats recently developed Buster Q – a proprietary, smart touchscreen display integrated into the steering console of its aluminum boats, which complements and controls the FUSION components. Buster Q’s large touchscreen allows boaters to access electronic navigational charts and instrumentation, as well as operating manuals, instructional videos, weather forecasts and control of radio functions. It also provides connection to the Internet.

“Our aim at Buster Boats is to make boating easier and safer for everyone, and at the same time provide added value to our loyal customers in the form of high-quality entertainment features,” said Juha Lehtola, president, Buster Boats. “Our goal was to create an easy-to-use, integrated device that eliminates the need to purchase a separate chart plotter or echo sounder.”

“We took inspiration from the automotive industry and tablet manufacturers and consolidated all the key features of the boat into a large, easy-to-use touch screen,” added Anders Kurtén, product development director, Buster Boats.

“This is just the first step in making Buster Boats sound great,” said Chris Baird, managing director, Fusion Entertainment. “We will continue to develop solutions that deliver the highest sound quality on the water and further enhance the user experience.”
