Four Winns Vista 255 wins European Powerboat of the Year
DUSSELDORF, Germany – The Four Winns Vista 255 has won the “2016 European Powerboat of the Year” award in the “up to 25 feet” category. The award was recently announced at a ceremony held at the Dusseldorf International Boat Show, Dusseldorf, Germany. This is the second time the brand has won the award, bringing home the trophy in 2012 with the Sundowner 215 model.
The criterion for judging the European Powerboat of the Year is based on value, performance and innovation, choosing models that deliver valuable features and innovations, regardless of the brand or the market size. There are five categories in which to compete: up to 25 feet, up to 35 feet, up to 45 feet and over 45 feet. The panel of judges consists of editors-in-chief of Europe’s top eight motorboat magazines – Bådnyt (Norway), BoatMag (Italy), Boote (Germany), Marina.ch (Switzerland), Motorboot (The Netherlands), Nautica y Yates (Spain), Neptune (France) and Yacht Revue (Austria).
“It is quite an honor to be awarded this title, especially for a second time with Four Winns products,” stated Roch Lambert, president at Rec Boat Holdings. “The design team obviously did an outstanding job with the new Vista 255. It is truly a luxurious and versatile boat designed for families. We are already having tremendous success in the marketplace with this new model and expect to enjoy much more with this award.”
