SeaDek completes certified fabricator program
ROCKELEDGE, Fla. – SeaDek is proud to announce the successful completion of its first SeaDek certified fabricator training program. SeaDek certified fabricators specialize in the entire SeaDek process from templating boats, creating CAD drawings, cutting SeaDek EVA material using CNC technology and installing the final products assuring the perfect fit and finish. All SeaDek pads are installed using 3M pressure sensitive adhesive, which is inspected and applied at the SeaDek manufacturing facility in Rockledge, Florida.
The first five SeaDek certified fabricators are Castaway Customs in Rockeledge, Florida; JetBoat Pilot in Panama City, Florida; Xact Canvas in Tavernier, Florida; Open Water Concepts in Stuart, Florida; and Sacksteders Custom Wake (SC Wake) in New Trenton, Indiana.
SeaDek launched the program to make its products more readily available to the end user by partnering with regional fabricators and installers. The company says this will shorten lead times dramatically, eliminate the need for customers to make their own templates and assure a high level of customer service. Certified fabricators are factory trained and selected for their professionalism and commitment to quality.
The next training and certification session will not be held until early 2016 but applications will still be accepted for review in the meantime. Minimum requirements for acceptance are CAD/CAM experience, a CNC machine, a website and an existing business history or at least two years, preferably in marine related enterprises. Please email clifftisdale@seadek.com for applications and further information.
