Ameritex Fabric Systems introduces WeatherGuard
BRADENTON, Fla. – Ameritex Fabric Systems introduced WeatherGuard, a new fabric exclusive to the marine industry.
“It’s strong. It’s durable. Most importantly, it’s a cost-effective solution offered solely by Ameritex to boatbuilders looking for an alternative to higher priced name brands,” said Don Zirkelbach, president of Ameritex Fabric Systems.
WeatherGuard is made of solution-dyed polyester and built to maintain its color after long-term exposure to the elements. Ameritex says WeatherGuard is resistant to water, tearing, abrasion, UV and mildew, and that the fabric will remain soft, pliable and lightweight, making it easy to fold and store.
“After years and years of experience in the marine market, we at Ameritex know what it takes to make a robust fabric that boaters can depend on,” said Zirkelbach. “WeatherGuard has all the necessary characteristics that a good marine fabric needs. It can be used for boats of any shape or size, protecting boaters and their boats for years to come.”
