IMBC Opens Registration

Press Release

Registration for the International Marina & Boatyard Conference (IMBC), January 30–February 1, 2013, at the Greater Broward County/Fort Lauderdale Convention Center in Florida is now available online at www.marinaassociation.org/imbc/registration. Rates start at $365 for the full three-day conference.

“We’ve included some new and exciting additions to IMBC this year,” Jim Frye, AMI President, says. “We will have more professional speakers than previous years, an entirely redesigned seminar series as well as some interesting networking events, such as our annual golf tournament to raise money for the Neil Ross Scholarship Fund

New additions to the program include professional speaker John Spence who will be delivering a keynote address and a post-keynote follow-up session to dig deeper into his keynote topic, “Business Excellence: Running and Sustaining a Highly Successful Organization”; breakout sessions categorized by coastal marina, inland marina, and boatyard and service topics; an Oktoberfest-style beer tasting on the exhibit hall floor; and special limited-attendance workshops designed to promote open conversations and lively debate.

“We recommend people register early this year,” Frye explains. “Though the workshops are included in the cost of the conference, we are obligated to limit the attendance number in order to maintain a strong learning atmosphere. Plus, if you register early for IMBC, you get an overall discount. It’s a win-win.”

Pre-registration will be available now through November 30, 2012. Onsite registration will begin Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 2:00 pm. For more information or to register, visit IMBC’s website: www.marinaassociation.org/imbc.
