SP-High Modulus opens Rhode Island office

BRISTOL, R.I. — SP-High Modulus will open a new sales office in Bristol, R.I. The new office will handle sales, customer service and engineering. The company is the marine division of Gurit, which supplies the superyacht market, high-performance custom, production and workboat sectors.

The 3,600-square-foot office will house 12 staff. The engineering team was formerly based in Gloucester, Mass., and has relocated to the new Bristol office.

“We are pleased to be able to offer our North American customers the benefit of having both our sales and engineering teams located on the one site,” said Paul Goddard, Director Marine Asia Pacific and North America.

The company has hired Cliff Drawbridge, a Senior Draftsman and Robert Hewitt, a Design Engineer, who is coming from the New Zealand office.
