Maryland boaters enjoy early boating

KENT ISLAND, Md. — Cherry blossoms aren’t the only thing getting Marylanders outside and active: longer light and mild temperatures have them out on the water, too.

An article in the Washington Post reports area marinas are reporting boating action normally seen at the end of April — ripping off the wrapping and getting the boats into action.
