GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. – Taylor Made Products, a supplier of boat fenders, covers and other aftermarket accessories for the boating industry, announced it completed the installation of a high-capacity Rotational Molding machine in its manufacturing facility in Gloversville, N. Y.
According to company officials, the added rotational molding capacity is part of an overall strategic plan to grow through new product and category expansion. Taylor plans to produce both vinyl and polyethylene fenders and dock products on the new, larger machine.
"Because of the capacity of the machine, we will look to expand our product offering to include more high-cube dock products and other new products in the near future," said Jason Pajonk-Taylor, president of Taylor Made Products. “In addition to the new product development opportunities, this new machine will give us the ability to respond to in-season demand faster and build finished goods inventory to support our customers during the critical spring and summer season.”
