Skipper Bud’s opens new Arizona marina
PHOENIX, Ariz. — Scorpion Bay Marina & Yacht Club, a new Arizona marina managed by Skipper Bud’s, will hold its grand opening Labor Day weekend, according to a release from Skipper Bud’s. Marina staff will provide tours of the facility — located in Peoria, Ariz., on Lake Pleasant — all weekend long.
The new marina offers wet slips for boats up to 60 feet, economy dry-land boat storage, as well as boat rentals including pontoons, fishing boats, ski-boats and kayaks. The facility also includes a restaurant and bar with an outdoor patio and a view of the lake.
Construction of the facility was put on hold last spring in order to resolve permitting issues, but those issues have been resolved, according to Skipper Bud’s.
