Navico to launch Q1 sales promotion
Tulsa, Okla. – Beginning Jan. 1, Navico will be offering what it says is “a strong sales promotion” on the Simrad NX40/NX45 Series multi-function navigation systems, designed to both stimulate consumer purchases and reward dealers for installing the systems.
The promotion will run through the end of March, Navico said in a press release this week.
This promotion will provide a $250 cash rebate direct to the consumer for the purchase of either the 8.4-inch NX40 or the 12.1-inch NX45. Navico will support the consumer promotion with a co-op advertising program and special advertising materials available to authorized dealers for use in their regional markets.
”When you consider this substantial cash rebate on top of even more competitive pricing, we’ve made a strong case for boaters to purchase these systems before the 2009 boating season,” said Louis Chemi, Navico executive vice president, Sales & Marketing Americas. ”With boating budgets shrinking as they are now, it takes solid product and an exceptional offer to get consumers to purchase. This sales promotion delivers both, right during the heart of the busy boat show selling season.”
In addition to cash rebates for consumers, Navico will also provide authorized dealers with a $200 installation credit for each NX40 or NX45 unit installed. This offer can be used to enhance a dealer’s profitability on each unit or provide added leeway for installing dealers to ”sweeten the offer” even further on the purchase and installation of these advanced systems, Navico said.
