Dammrich to keynote IMC ’05
WASHINGTON – National Marine Manufacturers Association President Thom Dammrich is scheduled to provide the keynote address Jan. 10 at the International Marina Conference 2005, announced Marina Operators Association of America Executive Director James L. Frye, CMM, in a recent release.
IMC ‘05 will be held Jan. 9-12 at the San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina.
Frye said Dammrich’s remarks are expected to outline the important role marinas play within the larger framework of the recreational boating industry as gateways to boating, as well as provide a preview of the industry-wide Grow Boating initiative expected to be presented at the Miami International Boat Show in February.
“We are really excited Mr. Dammrich will be addressing IMC ’05,” Frye said. “Throughout his tenure at NMMA, he has shown himself to be a consistent supporter of the marina industry and of boating access. We are pleased to offer a forum for his remarks.”
Flagship Marinas is the sponsor of Dammrich’s keynote address. Other sponsorships are available. For a complete list of those, the IMC ’05 agenda, or to register as an attendee, visit www.internationalmarinaconference.com.
