Tracker remains on top of boats.com new powerboat list

LAKE FOREST, Ill. – Tracker retained the top spot on the boats.com power top-20 new boat list and Sea Ray held onto first place in the pre-owned category, boats.com reported today, as it released its manufacturers rankings for March.

The boats.com rankings are based on the most popular consumer searches by brands, new and pre-owned, at the Web site’s online marketplace. The boats.com top-20 list is published monthly and reflects traffic data on all manufacturers and models available on boats.com Inc.'s Net Access Program.

"The number of page views we serve on boats.com Inc. has almost doubled to over 60 million a month compared to the same period last year,” said Paul Rabe, president, CEO and co-founder, boats.com Inc. “As the traffic increases on our site these rankings become more reflective of the consumers need for information and the products they are looking at.”

Lund remained in second on the power top-20 list followed by Lowe, which stayed in third. Tahoe moved up 4 places to seventh, while Sun Tracker (ninth) was up three spots. And the three new top-20 entries this month were Malibu (10th), Starcraft (17th) and Sea Fox (19th).

On the boats.com power top-20 list, pre-owned, there was no change in the top seven places. Sea Ray was first, followed by Bayliner, Wellcraft, Carver, Chris-Craft, Boston Whaler and Grady White.

Beneteau retakes No. 1 on sailboat top-20

On the boats.com sailing top-20 list, new, Beneteau retook the top spot from Jeanneau, while Hinckley was second and Hunter third. The other new top-20 entries for March were World Cat (11th), Topper (15th), CNB (18th) and Dufour in 19th.

As for the boats.com sailing top-20 list, pre-owned, Catalina retained first with Hunter and Beneteau in second and third respectively. Pearson (fourth) and C&C (fifth) rounded out the top five.
