Yamaha, Skeeter win several Communicator Awards
KILGORE, Texas – Skeeter Boats and Yamaha Outboards have won awards and recognition for their marketing, advertising and PR materials in the 2004 Communicator Awards international competition, the companies said recently in a release.
Honors were earned in catalogs, video, press kits, writing, TV spots and dealer publications categories, according to the companies.
The Communicator Awards, an international awards competition founded by communication professionals, holds annual competitions for audio, video and print materials. Winners and entrants have come from all 50 states and numerous foreign countries, the companies said.
The Crystal Award of Excellence is given to those entries whose ability to communicate puts them among the best in the field. The Award of Distinction is presented for projects that exceed industry standards in quality and excellence, according to the companies.

Those involved include: Yamaha and Skeeter staff plus Lone Wolf Graphics, Take 2 Productions, Newcomber Morris and Young Agency, and The Walker Agency Public Relations.
