CLEVELAND, Ohio –Mallory Marine, Inc. will dramatically expand its presence in the marine parts market and expects to invest several million dollars in the first year of that expansion to increase its product offerings ten-fold, the company said in a recent press release.
The new products include fuel, drive, electrical, cooling and engine parts categories and will leverage Mallory's product expertise in ignition systems. All of the new categories will be available to distributors in April 2004, Mallory said.
"Planning for this major expansion has been in the works for several years," Peter Venter, executive vice president of Mr. Gasket Performance Group, Inc., Mallory's parent company, said. "Our vision reflects a strong belief that the technological innovations and improvements such as four-stroke outboard engines and fuel injection, along with the entry of Asian engines into the market, gives Mallory an unprecedented opportunity to take a leadership position in the marine parts market."
