Miami show expanding its Big Game Room

CHICAGO, Ill. – The Big Game Room, presented by Salt Water Sportsman Magazine at the 2004 Miami International Boat Show, has sold out exhibit space in its inaugural year, the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) reported in a statement today.

This area focuses specifically on the Sport of Big Game Fishing and has been extremely well received by exhibitors, according to show producers.

The Miami International Boat Show takes place February 12-17 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

“We are thrilled with the variety of exhibiting companies in this area. We have boat and tackle manufacturers in addition to artists, conservation groups and companies representing fishing destinations,” said Cathy Johnston, show manager.

The Big Game Room has an international flavor as well with exhibitors representing Mexico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Panama, Australia, United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Mozambique and the Kingdom of Tonga.

“We’re working on re-configuring some space to accommodate more exhibitors, so interested companies should still apply to be on the wait list,” said Joanne Zito, sales manager.
