Nautical Monkey helps ease boat sharing issues
AUSTIN, Texas — Nautical Monkey is a new online service that uses social networking to allow boaters to share and manage usage, expenses, and maintenance needs more effectively.
The company was founded in 2010 by two individuals who have shared a boat together and have faced coordination challenges.
Nautical Monkey is designed to streamlines the process for individuals who are interested in sharing a boat but do not know where to begin. The company’s online calendar gives boaters instant access to all activities and reservations, notification of cancellations and changes (through an email or text message), as well detailed information about local events.
Information can be updated with a smartphone.
