Albemarle holds sales exchange, honors dealers

EDENTON, NC – Albemarle Boats recently held its annual “Out & Back” sales exchange at the Edenton Marina, a three-day event that included a fishing tournament, customer relations management training and an awards banquet, the company reported in a recent release.

Albemarle honored several dealers during the banquet, distributing the following awards.

  • Steve Sprague of Tuppen’s Marine, Lake Worth, Fla., received the “Salesman of the Year” award. Tuppen’s also took home the White Marlin Award for sales in excess of $1.5 million in 2004.
  • North Atlantic Marine Group, Stevensville, Md., earned “Dealer of the Year” honors for the third consecutive year and also took home the “Blue Marlin Award” for sales in excess of $3 million in 2004.
  • Florida Yacht Sales, St. Petersburg, Fla., earned the “Outstanding New Dealer Award” along with the “Sailfish Award” for sales in excess of $1 million in 2004.
  • Allen Harbor, Port Harwich, Mass., earned the “Outstanding Customer Service Award” and the “Sailfish Award” for sales in excess of $1 million in 2004.
  • South Jersey Yacht Sales, Cape May, N.J., earned the “Sailfish Award” for sales in excess of $1 million in 2004.
  • “We are extremely excited about all of our outstanding dealers” said Burch Perry, Albemarle vice president. “But the group of dealers listed here are an inspiration for us all to work harder in the year to come.”
