Tommy’s Boats to open new Knoxville location
Grand Rapids, Michigan-based Tommy’s Boats will celebrate the opening of its new location in Knoxville, Tennessee, during a ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration on Saturday, October 28. The new 18,000-square-foot facility, which houses a boat showroom, a Wake and Surf Shop, sales offices and a 12-bay service department, is situated on 6.9 acres with highway frontage and is located at 11470 Outlet Drive, a few miles from their previous location.
During the daylong celebration, leaders from Tommy’s Boats, the Town of Farragut, the Tennessee legislature, OC Construction, and the local community will gather to celebrate Tommy’s commitment to providing the Knoxville community with exceptional lake life experiences.
Farragut Mayor Ron William recognized Tommy’s Boats’ commitment to the business community.
“We’re excited that Tommy’s Boats chose to expand its Knoxville location right here in our community,” said Williams, whose township encompasses the Farragut business district. “Tommy’s Boats investment helps provide economic prosperity through jobs and by attracting water sport enthusiasts to our community.
The public is invited to take part in the weekend grand opening festivities on Saturday, October 28, from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the new facility, view 2024 models on display, and take advantage of limited special event pricing on boats, rentals, and at the Wake & Surf Shop. Guests can also enjoy food trucks and drinks, games, a bounce house, giveaways, candy bar, an outdoor display of football games, and a special appearance by Malibu Boats Pro Rider, Guenther Oka.

The total investment of Tommy’s new Knoxville location is nearly $8 million. Brands sold at Tommy’s Knoxville include top inboards Malibu, Axis and Crownline, high performance pontoons and tritoons from Tahoe and Manitou, and Skeeter fishing boats.
Construction on the Knoxville facility was completed by Tennessee-based OC Construction and designed by local firm Studio Four Design Architecture & Interiors in Knoxville, TN.
